Paolo Petrilli's red blend is the kind of wine we built Table Wine around. Made from organically farmed Nero di Troia, Montepulciano, and Bombino from old vines in Puglia, it comes from a small family estate and delivers an enormous amount of character without any pretense. The wine is fermented entirely in tank, allowing the fruit and savory character of the grapes to shine.

It's packed with ripe cherry and raspberry, peppery spice, juicy acidity, and round, supple tannins. Beneath the generous fruit is a wonderful herbal and savory quality, with the old-vine Nero di Troia providing much of the wine's backbone. Certified organic and bottled with minimal sulfur, this is an honest, delicious Italian red that drinks beautifully with pasta and red sauce, pizza, burgers, or just about anything coming off the grill.
