Domaine du Prieure Bourgogne Rouge

This small, third generation, family-run estate calls Savigny-les-Beaune home, and they have produced an utterly scrumptious Pinot Noir in the high quality 2022 vintage. You will be blown away by the silky and balanced concentration of this wine.

The estate’s 2022 Bourgogne Rouge comes a single parcel of Pinot Noir planted back in 1981. This southeast facing vineyard is located at the highest elevation deep in the village of Savigny les Beaune. 

This is a wine that is characterized by a vibrant nose of red fruits, spice, and flowers. Light to medium weight, with lovely red cherry balanced by spicy red fruits, very fine tannins, and a light mineral finish this medium-bodied effort offers immediate gratification. That means drink it now, like tonight!
