Bukhial Assam Black Tea

This broken-leaf, CTC (Cut, Tear, Curl) black tea from Assam, India, is unique and a first at the shop. Grown and processed at the Bukhial Tea Estate, founded in 1920, this tea brings a new tea type not seen at our shop before. CTC teas are almost always small, grain-like teas that are used in commercial tea bags and blends. Bukhial Assam Black Tea brews for 4-5 minutes at 200 F. Use 1 level teaspoon of dry ingredients for a 6-ounce cup and re-steep ingredients up to 3 times without compromising flavor or quality. Enjoy!
